Garden Encounters: Traces and Textures

Whadjuk ๐Ÿ“

The children involved in this project have been immersed in rich encounters with the garden. As they move through this familiar space, they demonstrate themselves to be capable explorers – curious, observant, and responsive to what the garden offers.

Their learning is deeply aligned with the concepts of Traces, Textures, and Assemblage. Rather than being passive recipients of nature-based experiences, the children are active participants within dynamic systems where their actions leave traces, their bodies encounter texture, and learning emerges through complex relationships between people, places, materials, and the more-than-human world.
